Short Morning Run

This morning I did a short and easy run on the treadmill before coming to work.

  1. Quick morning run for me too at the Hillcrest Fitness Center.

    30 mins, 3.5 mi
    Started around 6.6 mph for the first 8 or so minutes, then increased to 7 mph for the rest of the run.

    Off to my Western Art and Culture after 1400 discussion section. Don't get too jealous of all the fun I'm going to have... ha

  2. Hey, I'm up studying for a midterm tomorrow, basically I have to memorize A TON of different things. I'm in need of a little break, so I thought I would fill you in on my running for the weekend.

    Saturday:
    Ran 8.7 mi while it was raining lightly-got my shoes really muddy (don't know time b/c I didn't have a watch on)

    Sunday:
    Ran for 51 min (don't know mileage b/c I didn't get a chance to figure it out)

    My inspiration for running (if you can call it that) was my anger. Somehow the runs helped me to feel good about myself, especially because I realized that I could probably beat ALL the interviewers/hall managers in an 8.7 mi race. That thought made me feel really good :)

    Haha, so those were my runs for the weekend. I guess I should be happy with any cause that makes me run longer/faster, so I'm happy to have gotten that this weekend.

    Back to studying...I have to do well on this test!
