ReplyDeleteHaven't posted in a while so I thought it was about time to fill you in and remind you that you aren't the only one out there that is working!
Yesterday (3/28) Laura and I went out for a 9.3 mile run in Cedar Rapids. It was a nice and relaxing run. Having the company, for me at least, was refreshing and made the run seem like it was only 5 minutes. Really! It still mystifies me that something as simple as a running companion can trick your mind into thinking 9.3 miles is easy. It gives me the confidence that by the time October gets here, 26.2 will still be a challenge, but certainly something we will be capable of.
Keep up the hard work and we will too. It will be fun when we can all go for a long run together!
